ABOUT ME

Isaac Soh Zheng Rong is a Master’s student in the Architectural Urban Design and Engineering (AUDE) track at Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), focused on bridging architecture, urban design, and sustainability. With international experience across academic and professional settings, Isaac works across the full design process, from urban analysis and concept development to façade studies, spatial planning, and prototyping.

His experience includes architectural and research work with CPG Corporation, Treasure Dragon Corp. (龙宝建设), and the Dynamic Assemblies Lab (DAL), where he developed a strong interest in interdisciplinary collaboration between architecture, engineering, and computational design. Isaac’s work combines concept-driven narratives with practical buildability, material awareness, and clear visual communication.

During his undergraduate studies at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), Isaac designed an award-winning modular rapidly deployable hospital for pandemic scenarios as his capstone project. Recognized by the public at the SUTD Capstone Showcase, the project explored scalable healthcare infrastructure through systematic design development that balanced user experience, functional efficiency, and real-world constraints.

Isaac’s work has been recognized through academic and project achievements, including the Singapore Youth Hack Solutions Pitch Award and iDEATE 2022 Hackathon (First Runner-Up). His technical skillset includes computational and architectural workflows using Rhino, Revit, AutoCAD, and Grasshopper/Python, alongside digital fabrication and visualization through 3D printing, laser cutting, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Currently based in the Netherlands, Isaac continues to explore design approaches that integrate architectural vision, technological innovation, and sustainable thinking to create thoughtful and resilient built environments.
